BYFIELD POCKET PARK

This site is between the pocket park and the village allotments and was a wet area overgrown with scrub.
This project involves surveying the area of willow and elder scrub prior to removing it and then restoring the small pond.
|
The latter stages of the restoration, not funded within this project, are to create a wet wildflower and grass area around the pond and plant a short length of hedgerow on top of the bank which overlooks the site.
