Northampton Marina at Becket's Park 

NORTHAMPTON MARINA AT BECKETS PARK 

A new marina is due to be created in Becket's Park in Northampton. The project will be carried out in a number of phases, and the wider project will bring 82 permanent and a number of visitor moorings to the disused rowing lake.

The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Projects; wild brown trout from restored section of stream 

CHALK STREAMS OF LINCOLNSHIRE

The Lincolnshire Chalk Streams Project (LCSP) is a partnership which aims to protect and enhance the threatened chalk stream habitat throughout the Wolds.  It was established in 2004 and brings together the expertise of the Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service (LWCS), Environment Agency, Anglian Water, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, Natural England and Wild Trout Trust.

Stanwick Lakes new visitor centre 

NEW VISITOR CENTRE AT STANWICK LAKES

The new visitor centre at Stanwick Lakes countryside attraction and nature reserve in Northamptonshire is now open to the public and attracting thousands of visitors. Its iconic design combined with its use of the latest 'green' technologies have made it an award-winning landmark building.

THE EREWASH VALLEY TRAIL PROJECT 

A partnership project to deliver over £500,000 of environmental improvements over the next two years. This exciting project is based on the formation of a walking and cycling trail, but it will also deliver major benefits for wildlife, encourage healthy living and help to connect local communities.

The National Forest Cycling Centre 

THE NATIONAL FOREST CYCLING CENTRE

Successful funding bids to the 6Cs Strategic Green Infrastructure Growth Fund and the Leicester & Leicester Sub-regional Investment Programme have brought the idea of a National Forest Cycling Centre nearer to reality. The centre will provide a range of facilities to encourage families, young people and novices to cycle more
