Some 15,000 trees have been planted at 2 sites in the Rockingham Forest, just north of Kettering. The new planting fills a gap in Weekley Hall wood creating a continuous block woodland covering over 160ha. The planting is a mix of native broadleaf trees including Oak, Beech and Hazel and provides a range of environmental and landscape benefits. River Nene Regional Park provided a £10,000 grant toward the cost of the scheme.
