In March 2015 there were two planting projects completed for the Forest for Life - Rockingham Project.

A large project on the Boughton Estate saw 10.5 hectares of land planted. The newly planted area will reconnected a copse with existing woodland to the East. The planting has gone extremely well with help from Groundwork Northamptonshire and the Boughton Estates team doing a wonderful job.

A second planting project to take place was on Churchfield Farm land close to Oundle. There was a total of 2.76ha of land planted, broken down in to 6 smaller sites of 1.1, 0.5, 0.47, 0.31, 0.2 & 0.18ha respectively. These small sites create links with, and extend existing woodland on field margins.

We would like to thank all of those involved with the two planting projects and allowed this year to be one of the most productive planting years for the Forest for Life - Rockingham Project.
