A new £300k mooring was officially opened at The Chester House Estate at Irchester, near Wellingborough on Friday 10th June by the Nenescape Landscape Partnership.

The past, present and future importance of the River Nene between Northampton and Peterborough will be highlighted by an earmarked grant¹ of £2.8m from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), announced today.
Campaign for the Farmed Environment (CFE) are running two events this November and places are filling fast so please book as soon as possible.
Both events will be covering green covers, greening and cross compliance with speakers from CFE, Kings and the Farm Advice Service.
CFE are also promoting their Environmental Seeds offer for 2015.
The NCP event on Models for Open Space Management scheduled for the 6th October has been postponed.
This event will now take place on the afternoon of the 28th October, following the Water Framework Directive event in the morning.
